The Defenders: INS VIKRANT COMMISSIONED | INDIA'S FIRST INDIGENOUS AIRCRAFT CARRIER | 3 Sep, 2022

In a major boost to India's naval might, Prime Minister Narendra Modi commissioned India's first indigenous aircraft carrier IAC Vikrant in Kochi. With this, India has entered the select league of nations with domestic capability to develop such large vessels. IAC Vikrant is Indian Navy's second operational aircraft carrier and the largest warship ever built in India.
