The Dream of the Thylacine by Margaret Wild

The Dream of the Thylacine is a lament for a lost species, and celebration of the Australian landscape. It interposes arresting text and images of the last known thylacine - Benjamin, locked away in a concrete cage. These still black and white images are beautifully juxtaposed and supported by colourful paintings of the animal in its natural environment.
