School:
This is my school. I come here to learn how to read ,write and study many interesting things. We also learn good manners and good habits in the
school.
Park
Many neighbourhoods have a park.It has many beautiful trees with flowers.Every evening I play in the park with my friends.My grandmother also comes to the park for her morning walk.
Hospital:
When we fall sick,we go to a hospital.There are doctors and nurses in the hospital who treat us and also take care of us.
We can dial 102 to call an ambulance.
Police station:
Every neighbourhood has a police station.
The police protect us. They catch thieves and robbers.
They maintain law and order.
We can dial 100 to call the police station for help.
Fire station:
When there is a fire in the neighbourhood, we can dial 101 to call the fire
station.
They use water hoses to put out the fire.We can dial 101 to call the fire station for help.
Bank
A bank is a place that keeps our money,jewellery and other valuables safe.
We can take our things back from the bank whenever we want.
Market
There are several shops selling different things in the market.
We buy food ,clothes and medicine from the market.We can also buy toys and other things we like from the market.
Post office
In the past, people used to go to the post office to send and receive letters.
Nowadays ,with computers and phones ,we can also talk to our friends and send messages without going to the post office.
Our role in our neighbourhood
1.We must always keep our neighbourhood clean.
2.We must help our neighbours in need.
At the end Ricky ask questions to Reene to know her understanding about the neighbourhood places.
