Secondhand Book Haul

Welcome back, pals!

Another Thursday, another video. I'm really loving having stocked up on content. I just hope that I remember to continue to film and edit content so that I can continue to be working ahead of things FOREVER! Ok, forever is probably a bit excessive, but for as long as I continue to do this and am having fun-- how's that?

Today's video is super cute (if I do say so myself) and super quick! I tell you about one of my favourite independent bookstores (Wee Book Inn-- they have shop cats!) and we take a look at the books that I got when I was there on my last trip.

A not so spoiler alert? I got two books in two similar categories. I was a picture of self-restraint when it came to being in a bookstore, let me just tell you! And honestly? I feel better buying secondhand because we very rarely need new of anything as long as it is in good enough shape and won't hurt us.

It's also, quite honestly, super rare for me to buy more than one book at a time these days. I'm generally buying one book at a time after I have borrowed it from the library and know that I LOVE it and want to add it to my personal connection. Also, most of the books I have been getting lately have been gifted to me.

Perhaps that means I may need to film another quick video to share that? Hope I can remember which books they were now that they are on the Unread Bookshelf of Shame...
