REMOVAL OF BARRICADES AT THE OFFICE OF CHIEF VETERINARY OFFICER (CVO), PEREN.

(1). Whereas, the three MOU signatory
village councils namely; Old Perena
Office of the CVO Peren on 24/5/2024 because Shri. Namheirai of Kezanglwa village was not
a village respectively have created barricades at the appointed to a Grade IV post (Multi Tasking Staff/MTS) under CVO's Office Peren on land
Owner basis in spite of repeated appeals to the competent authority.

(2). In the meantime, on the 28th of May 2024, the undersigned had received an appeal letter from the department of A.H. & Veterinary Services vide Letter No.VET/PRN/GEN-3/2023-24/45-
47 dated 28th May 2024 requesting for the removal of the barricades stating that for
Shri.Namheiral of Kezanglwa village to the post of MTS under the establishment of CVO's office Peren is already under active consideration by the Hon'ble Gauhati High Court vide its Order bearing Case No. WP (C)/79/2024 dated 17/5/2024

(3). Consequently, the three village authorities after much deliberation have considered your
appeal and accordingly the barricades will be removed on 30/05/2024 at 2:P.M. in anticipation
that the department/ government of Nagaland will redress the genuine grievances of the land
owner.

(4). Hence, the current agitation in the form closure of CVO's office, Peren is withdrawn
temporarily. However, the undersigned will not hesitate to resume agitation in future if
Shri.Namheirai is not appointed to the post of MTS under CVO's office Peren.
