Why i Chose to FAIL ,after setting an IMPOSSIBLE Goal & chasing it for more than a year"

Welcome to the 16x9 aspect ratio of my visual storytelling. Today i will talk about “FAILURE” , pretty confidently.

Actually i do not want to talk about it as i don’t like failing. But recently i failed & i failed BIG.
However i have failed so many times in my life that i have no other choice than to embrace it . So i thought, let’s write about it .

So, i wrote about it last night before going to bed at 2. From the crack of a window just beside my work chair, I peaked outside at the dark.
The air was cold but noisy. I loved it ! However, i write better in peace.
So I closed the window to end the noise of the wind from entering my quiet room of 10x10. And then, i started writing.

I wrote about my recent FAILURE, which i surprisingly, never accepted.

I didn’t want to give up like a loser. Hence i was unnecessarily stretching it like i do to a tight rubber band which came with the food delivery; neglecting the fact that My set Goal was not relevant to me, anymore. 
But How could i quit on a GOAL , so BIG !
  
i wanted to win this time.

Hence i kept stretching & i kept trying, but AIMLESSLY, like the confused guy i always am. 


But yesterday morning when i woke up at 8, SUDDENLY it didn’t make any sense any more. SO I DECIDED TO WRITE AT DUSK !


but you know what, i couldn’t write much . Somehow i ended up with this 1 long sentence, which took me more than 3 hours to put down from pen to paper. AND IT GOES LIKE THIS…

“after chasing a goal for more than a year , i gave up on it because in between THE journey, i came to know that, the possible outcome after i reach that goal, would not meet my original expectations from it



and hence i QUIT.”



Initially i was not happy, but as the hours passed, i FELT better.
I Quit not because it was hard to complete but it was not my goal anymore.


Last full year i was on the road, alone for this. All i had with me was just these 4 things.
1. my money
2. my adulthood
3. my travel experiences
4. & my goal.

And all of em gave me nothing BUT FREEDOM.

My money gave me the freedom to do what i wanted to do with my time.
My adulthood allowed me to be fearless and take chances.
My travel experiences allowed me to take my own decisions in every situation. As i had no other choice.

But my goal. What about it ? 
It taught me not to follow assumptions set by others, instead solve your problem yourself.
It taught me to dream BIG - I would not have gotten 700k subscribers if i didn’t aim for 1 million.
at last, it taught me ,Whether you succeed or fail , keep going. - As 50 cents once said, “get rich or die trying”

So i will die trying…not to get rich! … but to buy me my FREEDOM & for ever, no matter how long it takes.
