I just purchased this product after using and enjoying the IRIS digital pen. This product simply works wonders for capturing any information out of bound source material. I am into genealogy and had been searching for a portable scanner that I could bring with me when doing research. This product not only grabs the info and pictures I want but allows me to take the text and turn it into an editable Word document allowing me to copy/paste into saving me tons of time. It came with an SD memory card large enough to hold hundreds of scans with room to spare and once I get a Bluetooth adapter for my PC I am sure that feature will come in handy for transferring/printing the scans wireless. If you are looking for a great rechargeable portable scanner and don't wish to lug your laptop this may be an option for you.

These instructions are for the Mac. I shudder to think what you Windows people will have to go through.
