This is a derivative of the homemade preamp I introduced previously.
This is the most used preselector amplifier I have built.
The telescopic antenna on the rear is separate from the internal circuitry and can be used as a general-purpose antenna such as an FM or dipole antenna.
The MW loopstick antenna consists of six ferrite bars, each 10 mm in diameter and 70 mm in length, which are floating mounted together.
It's a bit disappointing that I wasn't able to take full advantage of the loopstick antenna's capabilities because the shooting location was inside a reinforced concrete building.
