I recently copied 2 investors and in this video I shared my experience by looking at how my portfolio did whilst copying them for 4 months.

Followed by a conclusion and deciding if it was worth it.

So in the beginning we copy traded very conservatively, and I would do it the same again and recommend anyone else to start small, with low risk and “save” investing. Because small gains are better than big losses.

So to start off by copying traders like Slow and Steady or Olivier do not give you the best returns fast but it is also not a bad idea. It is not high risk at all and it makes you comfortable in the market. But at the end I did close my trades on both copy traders. Why you ask? Because after getting more knowledgeable on investing I realised that copying a low risk trader doesn’t appeal to me as much anymore because I thought that there would be no point in doing that when you can just buy trusted ETF’s with a great track record like the VOO or VTI ETF that gives great returns.

However, I always believe that a small percentage of your portfolio should be more High risk, and considering I am not yet comfortable with high risk investing by myself, I have been looking into finding two copy traders that are more of high risk investors. Just to add that to my portfolio and start with another learning curve.
