Ramnath Kovind President of India arrives at Beating of the Retreat 2020

Indian President Ram Nath Kovind arrives at the event of Beating of the Retreat. He is arriving with his convoy, to the sound of the trumpet coming from the background. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Minister of Defence of India Rajnath Singh and all the high ranked officers are present here to welcome him. There are two units of President's Bodyguards who are escorted him on horseback. One unit is moving in front of his car and the other unit is moving behind his car. The crowd seems very enthusiastic to see the event, and welcome the President to the venue. All the SPG commandos seem very alert.

Previously Ram Nath Kovind had served as the Governor of Bihar.
Ram Nath Kovind took the oath as the 14th President of India on 25 July 2017.

He is the first leader from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh to occupy the Office of President of India..
