Knitting Tutorial: Tubular Bind Off for a 1x1 rib - Felix Pullover by Amy Christoffers

In this video I demonstrate how to do the Tubular Bind Off.

Step 1: Four Rounds of Double Knitting
Round 1: [Knit1, slip 1 with yarn in front] around
Round 2: [slip 1 with yarn in back, Purl 1] around
Rounds 3 and 4: Repeat Rounds 1 and 2

Step 2: Transfer stitches onto two needles alternating - all the knit sts on the front needle, all the purl sts on the back needle

Step 3: Thread a tapestry needle with a good amount of yarn (about 2" for every stitch should be enough)
A. On front needle: pass tapestry needle knitwise into the first stitch and take it off the needle, pass tapestry needle into next stitch on the front needle purlwise and leave it on the needle, then pull the yarn through. Put a stitch marker on the very first st you take off the needle.
B. On back needle: pass tapestry needle purlwise into the first stitch and take it off the needle, pass tapestry needle into next stitch on the back needle knitwise and leave it on the needle, then pull the yarn through. Put a stitch marker on the very first st you take off the needle.

Repeat A and B (without the stitch marker step) until you get to last couple of sts on the two needles. Place the first two sts that are on the stitch markers back on the needles and complete the circle as show in the video.

Weave in the end.
