Slow stitch thread caddy using an old pot holder

Описание к видео Slow stitch thread caddy using an old pot holder

Sharing my Roxy’s journal of Stitchery slow stitch thread caddy made from an old pot holder that I picked up at an op shop.

I love that the pot holder resembles a vintage quilt and in this video I share how I add slow stitching embellishments including hand quilting over the top of the machine quilting as well as yo-yos or Suffolk puffs, buttons, French laundry label and vintage ric rac from my much loved nanna.

I just love how cheery and sweet this has turned out from something that was otherwise headed for landfill! Reuse and upcycle makes me happy!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
