IJN Noshiro - The Least-Famous Agano

In today's video, we'll be looking at another Japanese cruiser. The second of the Agano-class, Noshiro. This ship was arguably the luckiest of her class, evading any substantial damage for most of her career.

However, that luck would eventually run out. At the Battle of Leyte Gulf, where many ships- on both sides -met their ends. Noshiro would be among them, succumbing to allied air attack. The same fate that would eventually meet her sister, Yahagi.
