When Bob Lind recorded the "demo" version of his song "Cheryl's Goin' Home" in November 1965, he envisioned it as the "A-side" of a 45 rpm single that had "Elusive Butterfly" on the back (last image of the video). After a month of radio promotion, however, radio stations noticed that the "B" side received better ratings and the reissue of the album (January 1966) featured "Elusive Butterfly" on the A-side and Cheryl's Goin' Home on the B-side. The 45 rpm reached number 5 in the USA singles chart.
In Italy Mogol (Giulio Rapetti) wrote the lyrics of "Una farfalla" (Elusive Butterfly) for Caterina Caselli without having big sales results, and of "Che colpa abbiamo noi" (Cheryl's Goin' Home) for the English "emigrated" in Italy band "The Roxes", who by that song ranked second at the Cantagiro Festival and reached the top in the Hit Parade of the summer 1966.

Quando a novembre 1965 Bob Lind registrò la versione "demo" della sua canzone "Cheryl's Goin' Home", la prevedeva come "lato A" di un 45 giri che aveva sul retro "Elusive Butterfly" (ultima immagine del video). Dopo un mese di promozione radiofonica, le stazioni radio notarono però che il lato "B" riceveva miglior gradimento d'ascolto e la ristampa del disco (gennaio 1966) presentava "Elusive Butterfly" al lato A e Cheryl's Goin' Home al lato B. Il 45 giri raggiunse la 5ª posizione nella classifica dei singoli USA.
In Italia Mogol (Giulio Rapetti) scrisse i testi di "Una farfalla" (Elusive Butterfly) per Caterina Caselli senza avere grossi riscontri di vendite, e di "Che colpa abbiamo noi" (Cheryl's Goin' Home) per il complesso inglese "emigrato" in Italia "The Roxes", che con quella canzone si classificarono secondi al Cantagiro e raggiunsero il primo posto nella Hit Parade dell'estate 1966.
