A dilapidated School in Garo Hills, Meghalaya

Shri Albert Momin, the president of Adokgre and Dobanggal Non Govt. LP School through a Press briefing expressed unhappiness in-connection with the shoddy condition of Dobanggal Non Govt. LP School. The school which lies under Kharkutta constituency comprise of 40 students are facing challenges and difficulties due to deplorable infrastructure which led the students remain absent from school during rainy seasons due to worn out tin sheet roof and crack walls, broken door and windows. The poor condition for the school has deprived the students of quality education.
The President also informed that several complaints have been made by him and the village Sordars calling out for help and support from the local MLA Shri Rupert Momin but he turned deaf ear and no initiative has been made for further repair and up development of the school infrastructure. Therefore, he appealed the State Government to address this issue and provide necessary assistance for quality education
