If you have a pretrial coming up in a DUI / DWI case, there are several things that you can expect. A pretrial is a hearing that occurs after you have been arraigned. At your pre-trial, your case can resolve, it can be set over for another pretrial, it can be set for motions to suppress or dismiss, and finally it can be set for trial.

You should never be walking into a pretrial without having spoken to your criminal defense attorney. You should be solid on your plan, and all forms should be filled out in advance.
