A Day in the Life of a Seminarian

Like Christ who spent 30 years preparing himself for his ministry through the ordinary moments of everyday life, our seminarians are similarly formed and refined during their time in the seminary through more ways than one. Their time spent together in community living, prayer, and academic coursework help nurture them into the compassionate and devoted shepherds that our Church needs.

This Good Shepherd Sunday, let us pray for our seminarian brothers and all those who are discerning the call to the priesthood. May they be filled with the courage to answer God’s call wholeheartedly and for every grace that they need to persevere in their journey towards becoming shepherds after the heart of God.
