Unboxing a Tungsram 6L7 pentagrid converter heptode vacuum tube. The valve is probably new & in its original box. (NOS New Old Stock, NIB New In Box)
The valve base is a black international octal A08 K8A. The valve has a top connection cap. The IO base has LICENSED ONLY TO THE EXTENT INDICATED ON CARTON on the bottom. The black metal can has the TUNGSRAM, 6L7, A.A. & MADE IN U.S.A. printed on it in white. Stamped around the bottom of the can is 67-.
The box has 6L7 METAL printed on the one end & 6L7 METAL embossed on the inside of the inside carton.
The type 6L7 has a heater filament voltage requirement of 6.3 volts & was first introduced in 1936.
