The President - Aldbourne Band - Whit Friday Brass Band Recording at Hurst Cross 2024

🤩 SUPER WHIT FRIDAY! 🤩

🎺 Aldbourne Band have just about recovered from another excellent trip up to the Whit Friday Marches!

🏵️ Opting this year to visit the Tameside villages, the band were delighted with an overall 4th place in the competition, including a ‘best cornet’ prize for principal cornet Richard Hughes at Heyrod!

🙏🏻 A massive thank you must go to all the organisers and volunteers without whom the ‘greatest free show on Earth’ would not happen!

🥁 Huge thanks must also go to MD Glyn Williams for his brilliant direction and bass drum playing! And also to Helen Williams for being our runner even though it was her birthday!
