SFV: Akira Tips - Beginner Combos

Want to learn how to play Akira but don't know where to start? Confused by all the combo videos and waffle? Don't know how to LET'S GO BROTHER good? Well this is the tutorial for you!

In this tutorial I cover what I believe are Akira's core beginner combos to learn before going on to the more complex hit-confirms and link combos. I also cover a primer to Intermediate Combos, jump-ins, punishing, anti-airs and dealing with fireballs :)

V-SKILLS & V-TRIGGERS
I would recommend beginners use V-Skill 2 as you need to be good at tricky links to make the most out of VS1 and finding time to use it/charge Kiko Kai adds another layer of difficulty, plus air combos are super fun! You get more V-meter gain from raw VS2 than using it in a target combo, the super air combos are a bit tricker too but the basic one is quite easy to learn.
Both V-Triggers are good so you can use whatever you like the most. I would say that VT1 (Big Brother!) has more utility as your opponent still has to worry about Daigo blowing up :P

Akira is a lot of fun with some fun combos. I probably added too many combos for beginners to worry about (i.e. the vs standing) but they're good to know when punishing :D She has a Mika vibe to her with Daigo popping in for VT1 and CA. You'll probably struggle a little with zoners/fireball characters but once in she does some pretty chunky damage. Her overhead is slow but has good range and can confirm into target combo for more damage and knock down, no other character has that! A lot of resued animations from SFxT's Asuka :P Gotta say I don't like how her face looks, it's a good adaptation of the original however it doesn't match with the rest of the female cast. That's somewhat an issue with SFV in general, inconsistent art style :/
