Android app for acquiring English language skills by Chinese speakers

Active acquisition or training of English skills is ensured by using concurrent triple activity - reading, listening and speaking -, which was never used for learning languages before. The learners start speaking in English before they understand the rules of grammar or studied lists of words. This method is developed for actively training learner’s mind, tongue and hearing at the same time. It requires mandatory support in the native language organized in such a way that it eliminates the habit of translating incoming information into the mother tongue.

Three types of texts are used in every lesson:
1. Pre-recorded lessons on various topics and drills, which ensure training of language skills instead of memorizing vocabulary lists or grammar rules.
2. Lessons added by a learner or a teacher, thus making the application interactive and suited for vocational training.
3. Inspirational poem recorded by a native speaker, which allows learners to re-enact an understandable situation in English.

The learner may record his own narrating and share it with friends or teacher in case of integrated learning.

Testing active vocabulary and fluency is built-in every lesson. The learners are instructed to perform testing after completion of each lesson by putting on the earphones and saying a few sentences on any topic ignited by the word randomly selected from the lesson.
Built-in reading and speaking fluency test along with testing of active vocabulary provide gamification elements, necessary for a modern application. In addition, this type of testing develops a habit of automatic speech. Testing strengthens students’ faith in the method and gives them a positive feeling of success.
