Parliament Session LIVE: Government Introduces Waqf Amendment Bill in Lok Sabha

The Centre introduced the Waqf Amendment Bill, 2024, in the Indian Parliament today. The Bill aims to introduce major changes to the 1995 law, including the appointment of Muslim women on Waqf boards and mandatory land verification before a board can designate it as a Waqf property.
