The BEST Things to Do in Halton Hills, Ontario: Georgetown, Glen Williams, Acton and More!

We're excited to put the spotlight on our hometown of Halton Hills, Ontario! These are some of the best things to do in Georgetown, Glen Williams, Acton and more.

Halton Hills is "small town living at its best" and it's no wonder that Halton Hills was rated as the 3rd happiest place to live in Canada!

In this video, we visit Glen Williams (Williams Mill Creative Art Studios, Kit's Little Kitchen, the Credit River, Main Street Market, Feathered Nest Furnishings and Copper Kettle Pub).

Then, we went for a hike at Silver Creek Conservation Area, part of the Bruce Trail.

In Acton, explore the shops and restaurants in downtown Acton. Have dinner at Tanner's Restaurant and Catering (fantastic vegan items on the menu). Prospect Park and Fairy Lake is a beautiful place for a walk or get out on the water canoeing and kayaking.

In Georgetown, check out Furnace Room Brewery for their great craft beer, patio, and events. The Georgetown Farmers Market is the place to be on Saturday mornings - the main street in downtown Georgetown is shut down for vendors.

In downtown Georgetown, here are a few gems: Silvercreek Socialhaus for coffee, the Hooded Goblin and J&S Records (it's not as well known that there is a whole record store in the basement!), Foliage Living and the Helson Gallery.

Our final stop was to Andrew's Farm Market and Winery (Andrew's Scenic Acres). You can pick your own fruits, wander through sunflower fields, take a wagon ride, and stop by the winery to try their amazing fruit wines. It's the only winery in Halton region!
