Almaty (Kazakhstan) and Baku (Azerbaijan) have seen the highest increase in the last year - by 523% and 395% in searches from India on MMT.

The rush of tourists going to these spots is because of cheaper visas that come in 3 days and round trip flights for less than Rs 30k

But there's something more strategic to this...

In 2020, the Azerbaijan government decided to boost tourism and make a tourism promotion plan...

A number of influencers from around the world travelled to these countries and led to a crazy hype that is growing with every passing month.

In fact, Indians are not even the largest set of travellers to these countries... it's the Russians, Chinese, Turks and even people from the US.

Now, India has such amazing natural gifts that at least 20 such destinations can be built to attract foreigners...

GIFT City to beat Dubai
Lakshadweep to beat Maldives
Gulmarg to beat Almaty
Andamans to beat Koh Samui
Sikkim to beat Macau

And it would take these 3 steps:

👉🏼 Boosting safety and infrastructure in these cities as focused projects - maybe subsidies to private players will help who can take the risk of investing crores

👉🏼 Us Indians to ensure we learn some civic sense and keep these places clean - if it takes heavy fines to implement, so be it

👉🏼 And for us all to travel to places in India and build hype for the world to see - we're the largest population of content creators in the world - and hype is what all of us can create faster than any other nation
