Acrylic Painting Turquoise Beach Pebble Painting Tutorial

This is an easy way to make turquoise beach rock art with acrylic paint and paint markers. I used black paint markers to draw the rocks (or skipping stones) on a pre-painted background painting. You can use black acrylic paint and a liner paintbrush to paint on the rock shapes as well. I shaded and highlighted the beach pebbles with acrylic paint. You can paint this image on a background painting painted with any colour and pattern. Time-stamped instruction are available below and in the comment section. I hope you like this painting tutorial. @0:05 Draw on rock design
(Use a black paint marker to draw on the design onto a pre-painted background painting. Be sure the paint is dry before using the paint pen on it. You can also paint on the design with black acrylic paint and a script liner paintbrush.)

@2:18 Fill in all blank spaces
(Paint all the blank spaces with black acrylic paint and an angled paintbrush.)

@2:52 Shade the beach pebbles
(Mix green, blue and a tad of black acrylic paint. Dip longest tip of the angled shader paintbrush into the paint. Work paint into brush and apply paint to the canvas. Place paintbrush on the top edge of the beach rock and apply paint by blending it towards the center of the rock. A little water may be added to the paint for easier blending.)

@5:41 Highlight the beach pebbles
(Mix white acrylic paint with a tad of blue and green to make the highlight colour. Turn the canvas 180 degrees before starting, to make it easier to highlight the beach pebbles in the same way they were shaded. Dip longest tip of the angled shader paintbrush into the highlighting paint. Work paint into brush and apply paint to the canvas. Place paintbrush on the top edge of the beach rock and apply paint by blending it towards the center of the rock. A little water may be added to the paint for easier blending.)
