Описание к видео What Is the Truth Behind the Quiet Military Buildup Pushed by Sanae Takaichi? — Isoko Mochizuki!

Do you think Japanese pesople hope to break out the third world wide War
even Hiroshima and Nagasaki citizens were killed by U.S. militaly atomic bombs??

Short answer: No. The vast majority of Japanese people do not want another world war.
Here’s some important context to clear this up:

Strong anti-war sentiment: Because of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the devastation of WWII, Japanese society has a deep, long-standing anti-war culture. Many families still pass down those memories, and peace education is common in schools.

Japan’s constitution: Japan’s postwar Constitution (especially Article 9) renounces war. While there is debate about defense policy, this reflects a strong public desire to avoid becoming involved in large-scale wars.

Defense vs. aggression: When you hear about Japan increasing military spending or strengthening its Self-Defense Forces, this is generally discussed domestically as deterrence and self-defense, not as a wish to start or “break out” a world war. Many Japanese people are actually uneasy about these changes.

Public opinion: Polls and public discourse consistently show that most Japanese citizens prioritize peace, diplomacy, and stability, especially given regional tensions. Fear of war—rather than enthusiasm for it—is far more common.

Hiroshima & Nagasaki voices: Survivors (hibakusha) and citizens of those cities are among the strongest advocates against nuclear weapons and war worldwide.

So while governments debate security policy, that does not mean the population wants war. In Japan’s case, historical experience has made people especially cautious about it.

If you’d like, I can also explain why some politicians still push for stronger military policies even when public opinion is mixed—or how Japan’s views compare to other countries.

Thank you very much. Have a great day today !
