Málaga Spain Port Stop |Transatlantic Cruise | Travel and Cruise Planning


Welcome to Màlaga Spain! Below are a few suggestions when visiting this beautiful port stop city.

1. Alhambra is the “must see’”. Plan on a full day trip as the Palace is about 100 minutes from Malaga. Book your tour in advance, as entry can sell out months before your visit date. (unfortunately not in this video, as we didn’t plan far enough in advance 😌)

If you aren’t going to Alhambra, this modern port city founded by the Phoenicians around 1000 BC, has plenty to experience not far from the ship.

The walk to the city center around Plaza de la Constitucion and Calle Puerta de Mar is about 2km. The Port Authority of Malaga offers a shuttle bus from the cruise terminal to Plaza de la Marina near to the city. Buses run every 15-20 minutes. Check if there is a cost.

Taxis are also available at the terminal.
The terminal offers limited shipping, toilets and local souvenirs.
