100 Ways to Die in Asphalt 8 (100th upload)

Описание к видео 100 Ways to Die in Asphalt 8 (100th upload)

To celebrate the achievement of having 100 videos under my channel's belt, here I present 100 Ways to Die in Asphalt 8...the first video of it's kind. Of course there are plenty of other short films out there showcasing 100 or more ways to die in various situations, but I doubt there are any about Asphalt 8, or any (if at all) racing games in general. So to change that, I started production of this masterpiece. After many, many hours collecting, editing, mashing together and waiting, here it is, my most effort in a video, out for the world to see. If you enjoyed it, hit the thumbs up or drop a comment and maybe check out my playlists for more content 👍

I own none of the above listed music, they belong to thier respective creators/owners and are present in this video for entertainment purposes only.

Reference answers for people who don't understand/get the jokes in the deaths

Death #13 - The McLaren MP4/8 is the fastest accelerating car in Asphalt 8, but being a Formula 1 car, it is very lightweight and is easily pushed around and/or knocked down.

Deaths #14, #15, #16 - all 3 cars sometimes lose control and skid, which is Asphalt 8's equivalent to hydroplaning. [Update:] As of the 2018 Halloween update, and the introduction of "Car Physics 2.0", it is now nigh impossible to skid as seen in the mentioned deaths, unless one were to find a way or technique to forcibly do it.

Death #21 - Traffic checking is the act of hitting same-way traffic with your car. Doing this slows you down a bit, but you can get a small boost refill for doing so. Do not traffic check with motorcycles.

Death #23 - A real-life ED Design Torq has no steering wheel because it has fully autonomous driving capabilities. The "driver" just sits down while being given a full 360° view of the outside world courtesy of several cameras on the outsides of the car.

Death #28 - I wanted to generate some laughs.

Death #29 - The ship's cannons actually shoot when you go by them, and I wanted to see if they could be put out of commission.

Death #36. Unlike all of the previous Asphalt games, that marks the only appearance of any police forces in all of Asphalt 8.

Deaths #38, #39 - Popular Asphalt 8 youtubers often do those things when testing a car's performance.

Death #44 - There is a certain path in Barcelona (forward) that can only be accessed by cars with good enough handling, and drivers with lightning reflexes and car control. The turn has been dubbed "Extreme cornering".

Deaths #46, #47, #48, #49, #50 - They are all ramps that, when taken, there is a significant chance you won't land on/with all 4 wheels.

Death #51, #52 - Both the most gruesome ways to die in A8...if it was a tad more realistic.

Death #53 - The Great Wall tracks were infamous for a shortcut that shaved several seconds off your time or let you gain several positions in a race. A hotfix was later applied to block that shortcut with rock formations, because too many people where using it. Considered "cheating" by the developers.

Death #54 - In Asphalt Xtreme, certain cars can bust open barriers that block shortcuts, secrets or other goodies.

Death #63 - The Koenigsegg One:1 has some of the most unique paint schemes...Army Camo, Snow Camo, Gold, Silver...etc.

Death #64 - The cave section in Iceland is dark, tight, and you can crash easily if you don't pay attention.

Death #66 - You can knock rivals down in pretty suprising ways.

Deaths #69, #70 - Invisible walls that stop you dead in your tracks if you hit them.

Death #72 - Split/Second is a racing video game where you destroy the environment (blowing stuff up, collapsing bridges, falling towers) to take out your rivals.

Death #74 - Bikes have sensitive handling, and are not recommended to use on Sector 8 due to thier unpredictable physics, and the track's constant elevation change during the turns.

Deaths #76, #77, #78.5, #79, #79.1, #79.5 - Showcasing just how strict the game is on not having anyone on the train rails. Also doubles as a reference to deaths #42 through #51 in Penguinfishing's 100 ways to die in TF2.

Death #83 - The car's real name is the Devel Sixteen Prototype, but because this time, it chose to be a literal "Devil", which gave me the idea to name the death a play on it's name.

Death #89 - In the Burnout 3 and Revenge, you can get a "Aftertouch Takedown", which is taking down a rival after you have wrecked by having them crash into your wrecked car.

Death #96 - Trolling on a bike is...well...don't do it. It will never end well.

Death #100 - ;)
