Taking the slow train from Manchester Victoria to Leeds

It's time for a rainy run down the "unfashionable route" between Manchester and Leeds, as I take the little Northern train from Manchester Victoria which wends its way to Leeds through Rochdale, the Calder Valley, Halifax and Bradford. It is a lot slower but we get a chance for a long look at Manchester Victoria (which was the plan all along!) and then also dip into the industrial heritage as we pass through places steeped in the history of the UK's manufacturing past.
