WW2 BRITISH ARMY 1937 PATT WATERBOTTLE,ITS HARNESSES,AND HOW IT ATTATCHES TO WEBBING EQUIPMENT

Описание к видео WW2 BRITISH ARMY 1937 PATT WATERBOTTLE,ITS HARNESSES,AND HOW IT ATTATCHES TO WEBBING EQUIPMENT

replaces a couple older videos..point of interest...the naked waterbottle in this video is a WW1 MKVI because its painted blue inside...it has been brought up to ww2 MKVII spec by being painted olive to the outside and ww2 dated.....it has been the feature of its own video back in 2014.....by no means complete ,not the best waterbottle design in terms of accessability, but it soldiered on with the british until the more american style 1944 pattern alloy bottle was introduced, but was still retained well into the 1950s...the green bottle is the MKVII, which replaced the WW1 period blue enamel MKVI,holds just under 2 pints of water...the official name for the medical harness is "carrier, other services",and in addition to use by medical personell it was also used by those who were not required to have a full set of webbing.
