Vintage Wood Handle Screwdriver Restoration | MIRROR POLISHED FINISH

Описание к видео Vintage Wood Handle Screwdriver Restoration | MIRROR POLISHED FINISH

In this video I will be restoring a vintage screwdriver that was most likely made in the 1930s to 1940s. I have heard that this might have come with the WW2 Jeep Willys tool kit. The wood handle makes this hand tool extremely classic looking. I wanted to make the metal parts mirror finish and reuse the wooded handles. This project required a lot of hard work, mostly sandling, and getting rid of the rust and the metal defects.
This type of restoration might fit in a an ASMR restoration, because of the natural sounds of the work process, and the absence of talking in the video.
In my future videos I hope to repair and restore more tool, and Tonka Toy Trucks. I hope you enjoy this satisfying restoration and subscribe to my channel for more quality content. Let me know if you like more original look, or the look of mirror polish finish. Some people also like to just keep the vintage and antique items kept in untouched look, having the rust and patina present. It all depends on the person, but I really just try to make content that's both entertaining to watch and educational at the same time.
