We are huge fans of High School Musical One Movie and felt inspired after reacting to the Disney Chanel original Movie High School Musical to do a Get Your Head In The Game Dance Tutorial. We will teach you how to dance with a basketball like Troy Bolton and the rest of the Wildcats, so come and learn how to do the Getcha head in the game Dance steps from our HSM Dance Tutorial and let us know how you get on with the Basketball Dance. "Get'cha Head in the Game" is a song performed by Troy Bolton (voiced by Drew Seeley) and the Basketball team from East High School in High School Musical.
American R&B group B5 recorded a hip-hop version of the song to the film's soundtrack that includes an extra rap verse. A music video was also released. American singer and actress Bella Thorne also recorded a version of the song for the Shake It Up: I Love to Dance soundtrack album.

Later DCappella, an American acappella group owned by Disney Music Group, covered the song and released it as a single. A lyric video was also released on DisneyMusicVevo YouTube channel.

The song also appears on the Disney+ spin-off series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and its soundtrack.

'Get'cha Head In The Game' is about playing basketball and how the Wildcats need to focus on the game. However, Troy realizes that his heart isn't in it, conflicted for his hidden talent for singing and weather he should audition for the Winter Musical or not.

In the spin-off series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, the song is performed by Ricky Bowen (Joshua Bassett) in the role of Troy Bolton during the end of the first act of the school production of High School Musical. Ricky's is pleased to have his parents attend the show, but is unnerved when his mother's new partner arrives during his solo, causing him to mess the performance. This version of the song also appears as part of The Medley, The Mash-Up.
