Pala St. Thomas student Nithina Mol’s murder accused Abhishek could have received training in how to kill someone by slitting throat alleged the probe team. The team have said that they will be conducting a thorough investigation on the matter soon. Abhishek has confessed that he had not gotten any help from outside.
The investigation team has decided to extend the probe to examine the accused’s mobile phone. Police will be filing an application to take him into custody on Monday. Meanwhile, the newly appointed Kerala Women’s Commission chief will be visiting Nithina’s house on Sunday. The visit is scheduled at 12.00pm noon.
On October 1st after appearing for semester exams Nithina’s classmate Abhishek had slit her throat using a paper cutter. Later even though she was taken to the hospital her life could not be saved due to severe blood loss. Abhishek, the accused had confessed to the probe team that he and Nithina had been involved in a romantic relationship and her backing out from the relationship is what instigated him to take the extreme step.
