How many of you have experienced sunscreen pilling?
It’s quite a common phenomenon if the ingredient in your sunscreen does not get absorbed into the skin. They form tiny clumps on the skin surface.

How do you prevent this?
• Make sure you cleanse your skin well, whatever serum or moisturizer you apply you have to wait for some time, allow it to get absorbed and then apply the sunscreen.
• Certain ingredients like silicon or UV filters if not formulated properly can contribute to sunscreen pilling.
• If you need to layer your skin with two serums and a moisturizer and then a sunscreen, make sure your sunscreen is absolutely light weight.
• Avoid using oil-based serums or creams before applying the sunscreen. This will reduce the chances of sunscreen sliding off the skin and pilling.
• Finally apply sunscreen that suits your skin type.
