Blencathra via Sharp Edge : Wild Camp

Описание к видео Blencathra via Sharp Edge : Wild Camp

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for checking out what this video is all about.

In this video I decide to revisit a route that I filmed in one of my previous videos.

The route I’m referring to is the fantastic route up Blencathra via Sharp Edge in the wonderful Lake District National Park.

The reason of the revisit is that in the original video of the route I unfortunately was unable to see the view from the summit due to low cloud. On this occasion I should have no such problem as the weather forecast for the next few days is for clear skies and super high temperatures.

Its another late evening start up the route but this time I’ve brought a Tent with me so we can wild camp at the top of Sharp Edge and walk over to the summit first thing the following morning to check out the view.

So why don’t you grab yourself a brew, sit back, put your feet up and come along on the route with me for a windy solo wild camp and a walk up to the summit of Blencathra on one of the hottest days of the year.

I do hope you enjoy the video,

All the very best,

Mike :-)

(I would not recommend taking on Sharp Edge in wet or damp conditions as the rock is extremely polished in places)
