Prof. (Dr) Samit Ray, Chairman of Rice Group and Chancellor of Adamas University, has been the life and soul behind RICE Education, since it was established in 1985.
Prof. Ray started his career as a software professional in the ’80s and quickly realised that not many candidates from West Bengal were able to qualify for the state and national competitive examinations.
RICE Education started with a single classroom and a bunch of students in the northern fringes of Kolkata.
