Food Focus: Taiwanese Charcoal BBQ & Hengchun History Lesson, Taiwan 🇹🇼

Hello adoring fans. This is it, the first real episode of Season 2. It was filmed New Years Day 2024! Did you ever wonder why Hengchun was a walled town? Me neither, I didn't even know Hengchun was a place. Alas I can confirm that it is a place and it does have a wall........But why? Well, you're going to have to watch if you wanna know, I mean, I guess you could just Google it, like I did, or let it forever remain an unsolved mystery in the back of your mind for all time more..... Up to you.

If you do watch, you'll probably notice that I edited the crap out of this video. Music syncing, keyframed texts, timelapse, all those bloody archive pics that flick in. 20 hours I reckon, but I'm unemployed now so I gotta do something with my days right???

Anyway, after the history lesson I conduct a short piece to camera and then I eat Charcoal BBQ, Taiwanese style. The lady I spoke to at the end was very nice, she let me do all the filming of the BBQ up close and basically whatever I wanted, she had a nice way about her and perfect English.
