LJ here! Life has its ups and downs... Last year about this time, my dog passed pretty suddenly. Cancer. He was way too young. An awesome, big, goofy golden retriever -- a heart of gold, as Mr. Neil Young would say. Happy. Between losing him and the lack of future prospects in general, life was feeling pretty dim. Still does sometimes, but Brian (Spirit & partner) and I coped by jamming and drinking beer. A few weeks later we had this tune. And a few weeks after that, we found out we got added to a run of epic gigs that concluded out West at the ever-iconic Troubadour. So hey, stay alert! You never know what's hiding around the bend...
