When generating leads as an Estate Agent, the one thing you need are relationships with sellers.

If a seller allows you to market their homes, that’s ultimately the carrot you need to generate buyer enquiries and the instruction you need to generate income.

Like with all lead generation ideas, there are people and businesses that are all for door knocking as a strategy and it’s those that firmly oppose it.

On one hand a common opinion is that door knocking is invasive and ‘interrupting marketing’ which gets your relationship with a seller off on the wrong foot.

Another argument is that homes on the market are the lowest hanging fruit in ANY market and door knocking is the quickest, cheapest and most efficient way of building relationships with the clients you need.
