More than 30 student teams entered the Moreton Bay Regional Council’s Mayor’s Telstra Innovation Awards in 2023. After coming up with an innovative idea to solve a problem they have identified (local or a global scale), these student teams worked closely with industry mentors to fine-tune and develop their concept, and compete for a spot at the event and pitch their idea to the Mayor. Students and schools shared in $10,000 worth of prizes and the experience and skills gained through the program will benefit these students long into the future.
