Chicken and Dumplings & Chocolate Banana Chocolate Chip Cake

I think it is about time for some comfy and cozy meals as our days are getting shorter and the temps are getting cooler. I decided to make an old southern comfort food, chicken-n-dumplings, using from scratch freshly milled flour to make my own "faux" bisquick (super easy). I also came up on the fly with a new sweet bread "cake" in my Zojirushi bread machine.

Chocolate Banana Chocolate Chip Cake
3 ripe mashed bananas
3 eggs beaten
1/2 cup oil (I used coconut)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cup of flour (I used 1 cup freshly milled soft white wheat and 1 cup all purpose Enikorn)
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
7 tbsp. of cocoa powder
2/3 cup of honey
1 cup of chocolate chips (I used lily's semisweet)

In a bowl, mis all dry ingredients together and mix well.
In Zojirushi baking pan paddles attached, add all wet ingredients. Then, pour over dry ingredients except for choclate chips. Place pan in Zojirushi machine and set to cake setting and start. 10 minutes into the kneading cycle machine will beep, add choclate chips now and scrap down sides of pan. Close lid and allow to finish cake cycle. Once completed, allow cake to sit in machine for 15 minutes before removing the pan. Allow additional cooling in pan for 10 to 15 minutes then remove from pan and enjoy.
