Innesti | Ambient | Eurorack Modular Synthesizer | 32

This video is part of a series that focuses on generative modular ambient. In these videos I'll be using my Eurorack modular system to create meditative patches that breathe and float. I am especially interested in generative processes, allowing the modular system to "play itself" and create slowly evolving textures that have no beginning and no end.

Patch Notes:

Play this in the background and drift away.

The Oxi One is sequencing Rings. Rings is being fed into the Arbhar, where the audio stream is being periodically sampled. Grains are being triggered at a slow rate, creating overlapping, polyphonic sounds. Those sounds are split, with one channel going to the Nautilus for a long-series of delays and the other going directly to some reverb and mixer.

The bass is coming from the Panharmonium. It is set to a slow tap/slice level and is being used as a sample and hold of sorts: It is taking whatever audio it receives at that moment from the Arbhar and resynthesizing it as a simple sine wave, pitched down two octaves, with envelopes from Ornament and Crime.

Various sources of modulation on the Nautilus via Ochd. In addition, a tiny amount of manipulation from the Qu-bit Nebulae. The sonar output of the Nautilus is also triggering grains from the Arhbar via its second granular engine.
