Before this track appeared, there was a lot of work on setting up generative plugins in Ableton Live. The project is structured as follows:
Arturia Microfreak receives a simple midi pattern, which is then processed by the Tambola midi plugin. Its parameters are configured to change on the Akai LPD 8 midi controller, I change them in real time. You can see how dots and lines scatter at different speeds in the plugin window, notes are divided into many granules. A separate track was created for microfreak, on which it is cyclically set to switch between oscillator types.
The Korg Volca FM synthesizer also receives a midi pattern, but it is processed by standard midi plugins from Ableton Live. These are Scale and Random.
The pattern for the Korg Volca Keys synthesizer is not processed by randomization plugins, but the probability of turning on notes is prescribed in it. Also, 3 solo parts will be played on this synthesizer, in addition to the incoming midi
The Zoom MS70-CDR pedal processes the audio stream from all three synths together. Its preset also includes some randomization of the sound.
The Behringer MX400 mixer allows me to control the volume of all three synths on the fly.
The MidiToys MIDI splitter splits the signals from Ableton Live for three separate synths.
