Although I usually rely on my GoPro for all my primary footage and only use my cell phone for backup B-Roll shots, when my main camera failed during my last wheelchair hike into the forest I ended up having to rely solely on the footage captured by my young grandson to put together this most recent episode of "Long Walks and Deep Talks With Papa".

At just nine years old, after helping me film many of my Handicapable Adventures over the last six months, one of Aaron Jr.'s biggest goals in life is to become a cinematographer.

Not only does he already have a really good eye for interesting angles and frame blocking, you can also hear him narrating - often to himself - what he thinks is interesting about whatever he is filming at the moment.

Needless to say, during our many long walks through the forest and our camping and fishing trips together I make sure to build up that excitement and desire within him, making sure he knows just how much I believe in him.

To that end, he knows my videos are seen by thousands of fans and friends and he would love to hear some words of encouragement as well as your thoughts about his budding career as a young filmmaker!
