Shavers played college football at Alabama, Mississippi State, and San Diego State.

After going undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft, Shavers signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent. He spent the year on the practice squad before signing a reserve/future contract on January 22, 2024. This coming NFL season, Shavers looks to make his case for the 53-man roster.
