Today we're going to take a look at the Lippert Components Center Point by Trailair air-ride suspension upgrade for tandem axle suspension. Now more than 85 percent of all semi-tractors out there on the road today do have some kind of air-ride suspension, so why wouldn't your RV or trailer have that same kind of ride. Now you can do it affordably with the Center Point air-ride suspension system. Center Point will add the air-ride suspension to any RV or trailer, dramatically improving the ride and towing experience with two air bags that absorb road shock and reduce fore-aft trailer movement known as chucking. This would work really well on harsh trailer where you might want ride comfort, and it helps reduce movement of the trailer to keep your horses from moving around. This is very easy to install. It'll dramatically improve the passenger comfort, reduce side to side trailer sway.

It is designed for tandem axle configuration, and it does retrofit to your current suspension. Now that suspension must have double eye springs. It basically installs in place of your standard trailer equalizers. It does use the dual airbag absorption, so it does absorb road shock and vibration from both axles simultaneously and without delay, helps improve overall ride, reduce driver fatigue, and it even dampens road shock more effectively than torsion axles. It'll protect your RV and cargo.

Does improve breaking distance, in case of emergency or panic stop. One thing this does do is raise the trailer two inches. Now we have looked at some of the customer reviews under this product page, and if you notice in some of them people have mentioned that the extra two inches of lift helps give them extra clearance so that their RV or trailer does not bottom out. It'll also give extra clearance for your tires if they're close to rubbing when your trailer or RV is loaded. Are lots of times we have customers that want to upgrade to larger tires, so it'd even allow you to do that because you'll gain and extra two inches of height. This part does include everything laid out here on the table. It includes a left hand and right hand side Center Point subassembly, the eight shackles, eight bronze bushings, 14 wet bolts and 14 flange nuts, this nice air gauge panel that has the gauge on it to show you how much PSI is in your bags, and also the inflation valve to inflate it, six wire clips, 12 self-capping screws, some cable ties that take up any slack in the tubing, and of course they give you 24 feet of airline tubing. Now also, the easiest way to determine proper air pressure for these air springs is to inflate them until these plates right here are parallel or if there's about five inches space between them.

They do estimate about five PSI per thousand pounds of trailer weight. That should do it for the review on the Lippert Components Center Point by Trailair air-ride suspension upgrade for tandem axle suspensions.
