I've always camped with family and friends and never done a solo camp before, that is until now.
What an experience !!!
With senses heightened, it certainly leads to many moments of flicking on the torch and checking what "that noise" was ..
It's a great way to clear your head and really relax, no one to chat to and just you, your thoughts and your own presence. I really enjoyed the experience, just not the losing my boot in the river and the damage to my sill on my pride and joy.
Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's something different and an experience well worth having at least once in your camping life. I would certainly like to do it again sometime.
