Today we celebrate 3 birthdays: Simone Inzaghi, George Finidi and Fernando Morientes.

Simone Inzaghi (born 5 April 1976) is an Italian former footballer who played as a striker, and the current manager of Lazio.
He played for a host of clubs during his professional career, including Piacenza and Lazio (where he remained for more than a decade, being used irregularly and being later sent on several loan spells). He gained three caps for Italy, during as many years.
He is famous for nine in just 11 UEFA Champions League games (including four in a single game against Olympique de Marseille on 14 March 2000, with which he equaled the competition record held by Marco van Basten since 1992).

Finidi George (born 15 April 1971 in Port Harcourt), known as Finidi, is a Nigerian retired footballer who played as a right winger.
After making a name for himself at Ajax in the Netherlands – being a leading figure in a team which won eight major titles, including the 1995 Champions League – he played several years in Spain with Real Betis, also having a brief spell in England before retiring.
Finidi was an important member of the Nigerian team during the 1990s, appearing in two World Cups.

Fernando Morientes Sánchez (Spanish pronunciation: [ferˈnando moˈɾjentes ˈsantʃeθ]; born 5 April 1976) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a striker, and a current manager.

He played for a number of clubs during his career, including Real Madrid, Monaco, Liverpool and Valencia. In La Liga, he scored 124 goals in 337 games over the course of 15 seasons. He earned 11 major honours with the first club, including three Champions League trophies.

Morientes played 47 times for the Spanish national team, representing the country in two World Cups (totalling five goals) and one European Championship.
