In this run, I was attempting to complete the Firestarter heist loud on One Down difficulty. This is Day 3 of the heist.

Note: I took advantage of a headstart in stealth at the beginning and was able to not only open the door to the electrical room but also get a min or two on the thermal drill before it went loud. For some reason I didn't hear (or missed?) the warning about helicopter coming to the roof so the gas was turned on...

Specifically, I was trying to complete it under these conditions:
Solo, No AI / bots
One Down difficulty
No purchased assets / No favours used
No downs
Online solo (not offline solo)

Note: I retried this heist several times and sometimes RNG works for you and sometimes against you. This is one of the times where I got good RNG for dodges and hitting crits.

Note: I also think the recent One Down difficulty related changes might be causing weird things with the spawns and assault waves as sometimes I get small spawns or long fades despite the assault that should end. Sometimes those sorts of things work for me and sometimes against me.


Note: I was using a mod from a friend which reverted all the fire rate nerfs (for the base weapons) that happened during the skill revamp. Note that the max fire rate of the deagle is still less than what could have been add with Gunslinger Aced, pre-skill-revamp, as that bonus was 100% (Gun Nut is only 50%).

Note: On my previous solo One Down Loud attempts, I found that there was tweak_data change that modified the critical hit chance after a couple of gentlemen have alerted me to the issue. This change seemed to have gotten mixed in with the pistol fire rate revert at some point (I don't know when since I deleted a lot of the older Payday 2 versions on my system). I believe I have removed the unwanted crit buff (but I would like to keep the pistol fire rate reverts). The same gentlemen also indicated that there might have been a dodge chance buff but I could not find anything relating to that. I have removed the previous solo One Down Loud attempts and starting those attempts afresh.

This was recorded on Patch 119 of the PC version of Payday 2.
