Nile River Source in JINJA, UGANDA & Ripon Fishing Village on Lake Victoria! Epic local experiences

My visit to Jinja, Uganda was full of authentic local experiences. After a great stay at the Igar Plaza Hotel, I caught a boda-boda and headed to the Ripon Fishing Village for a guided tour of this quaint settlement on the shores of Lake Victoria. From there, I explored Jinja's bustling and tourist-friendly Main Street to check out the city's cafes and art galleries. After, I caught another boda-boda to the Bourbon Restaurant to check out the source of the Nile River. Here, I enjoyed a cold Nile Special lager while relaxing on the riverside of the world's longest river. Jinja is truly a hidden gem, and one of the most welcoming and friendly tourist destinations on the planet - I could not recommend it more!
